Where does the time go?

During my last post I mentioned that I want to get into sewing and complete many (50) patterns from a new book I purchased by the end of the year. Well yesterday I got a good start. Emily and Jessie came over and we spent the entire day (13 hours!) sewing, knitting, listening to tunes, watching girly movies and having great conversation. It was a great way to spend a Saturday and I was productive too!


Maren sent me this pattern from a blog that I wanted to try. It was for a curtain and I had been wanted to add a curtain over my kitchen window. Let me know what you think.



















Next, I started the Folklore bag pattern out of the new book I purchased. Here are a couple of action shots and the final product. I am excited to use it for spring and summer!
