A new baby and bathroom...

** My friends Steph & Zach were expecting their 2nd child anyday and Madelyn Joy arrived on Monday, January 26, 2010 at 9:21pm. She weighs 7 lbs, 2 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. They are all healthy and happy and should be arrive home tonight. Here is a sneak peak of the beautiful Maddie -

Steph and I have become friends through work. She does the same job as me at another home in Woodbury. She is taking a 4 month maternity leave and I am so excited for her. She will not return to work until June! I am looking forward to bringing her lunch, going for walks with her kids when it gets warmer and taking Maddie shopping!

**The other exciting thing about this week is that I finally got my bathroom painted. Here's a pic of the new paint (although it's hard to see much since it's a small space!) I am going to be putting up some pictures on the walls and new hardware this weekend and then it will be a finished product. Did you know a towel bar for the bathroom cost $40? I thought that was outrageous - geesh.
